A Little Christmas Giveaway
Posted in: Julianne Hough, Music by John on November 24, 2008
As I mentioned previously, we’re going to do a few little giveaways just in time for Christmas. Marriann will be giving away 2 autographed copies of Julianne’s recently released Holiday Collection CD. Here’s a short description of what’s found on the CD:
The Julianne Hough Holiday Collection, exclusively at Target stores includes: “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Feliz Navidad,” “It Wasn’t His Child/Mary Did You Know,” “Santa Baby,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” among others.
If you’re interested in winning one of these CDs, leave a comment on this post. We’ll be giving one of the CDs to a randomly selected comment. The second CD will go to the comment which we like the most. Basically just wow us with something special. Surprise us!
As usual, any comments which are offensive, inappropriate, in bad taste, or we don’t like will be removed. Make sure you use your actual email when filling out your comment. We’ll be using that email to contact the winners. Please do not enter your email in the main comment section unless you want everyone (including spam bots) to see it.
We’ll be ending the contest at the beginning of December in order to get you the CDs in time for the Holidays.
Finally, remember to vote for Derek and Brooke tonight!!
Shirley Ballas and Preparation for Julianne Singing on Dancing with the Stars
Posted in: Dancing with the Stars, Julianne Hough, Julianne Hough's Dog, Music by John on October 17, 2008
I visited with Shirley and her mother at the monday night show. Shirley and Corky Ballas were the coaches that Julianne and Derek lived with and trained in ballromm dance while they were in London.
I took Shirley to see Julianne’s dog, a Cavalier King. In London the Cavalier King was the Royal dog for the King and Queen.
Julianne was up late last night practicing for the results show for this coming Tuesday. She will be singing her new single and dance with Derek and Mark.
I am so excited! Alot of her family will be there to support her.
Julianne is a little anxious and excited, which goes to show that even though she is used to performing a lot, she still gets anxious and wants everything to go well. So don’t give up when things get hard or a little scary. If you are prepared you will not fear and it helps you get stronger for the next time.
I loved watching “The Never Ending Story” with my kids when they were young. In the movie it says “Be Confident!” Having a glimmer of light and hope is what keeps life exciting and worth living. A life of challenges, and lots of experiences.
Til the next time.
Still in LA – Julianne’s New CD
Posted in: Julianne Hough, Music by Marriann on October 14, 2008
I am still in L.A. This is the first minute I have had to actually get on Jules’[Julianne] computer. When she isn’t running around being totally busy and engaged she is on her computer or her black berry scheduling and finding out where she needs to be and when.
I have been helping Julianne. She is so busy. I help here keep here apartment clean, wash, and cook. Derek and Jules are really wanting to spend time with family and have quiet time dinners at the apartment.
Julianne’s latest CD Sounds of the Season: The Julianne Hough Holiday Collection, is now available exclusively at Target stores. Last night, I was lucky to have Jules sing me the songs from the new CD in a personal concert as we drove in the car.
Got to go. I’ll write more as soon as I can. Today I had a full day. I had to get Jules car windshield replaced, oil changed, Katherine’s brakes fixed, a visit to the vet and show up to the show tonight in between some washing. If I look haggered I am! ha! ha! Actually, I love what I am doing and I love being apart of it all and sharing with my kids. You love those you serve! And My kids are so kind to me. They tell me how much they appreciate what I do for them. For all you children, be grateful to your parents even though I know we are certainly not perfect, but a thank you goes a long way!
